Managed IT
Can you handle an office move, including ordering equipment and setting up the network?
Yes. We plan office moves for clients we support: inventory, equipment ordering, cabling and network setup, then a cutover so the first day in the new space is usable. On-site cutover is available in Barrington Passage and the South Shore, Calgary area, and Fort St. John area. Elsewhere we coordinate remotely.
Context
An office move is rarely just boxes. Firewalls, Wi-Fi, printers, Microsoft 365, and the internet circuit all have to land on the same morning or staff sit idle.
As part of IT work we can order business hardware (workstations, UniFi gear, cabling, docks). A move is a good time to refresh aging equipment instead of relocating it.
Calgary and Fort St. John moves are service-area on-site by appointment, with no public storefront. South Shore moves use the Barrington Passage team, and the storefront at 3515 Nova Scotia Trunk 3 can help when that makes the project easier.
What we do
We inventory what moves, what gets replaced, and what must be ordered with enough lead time.
We plan the network in the new space: uplink (including Starlink on rural South Shore sites), switching, Wi-Fi, and a simple cutover checklist.
On move day we bring the LAN up, test printing and Microsoft 365, and park leftover issues in tickets so they are not lost in the shuffle.
Result
Staff can work in the new office without waiting a week for someone to look at the internet. Scope depends on seats, sites, and how much hardware is new, so we quote after we understand the move.
Book a discovery call before you give notice on the old lease. The earlier we plan, the smoother move day is across time zones.
